BACKGROUND INFO:-
For anyone's who's thinking 'Hold on a second. They've already
used this plotline in issue 4', I've two notes. Haven't you realised yet that
I was terrible for reusing the same old rubbish time and time again. Oh...
what I mean to say is... um... it isn't the same because...er... in issue 4 it
was just 'going to the seaside' for a daytrip. Here it's going on holiday, for
a longer period of time. Yes, that excuse will
do.
Finally, two pointless pieces of information for you all (aren't I kind!). Firstly, the place they are visiting is called Fiver-reef. It's either a play on the name Tenerife, or perhaps some paranormal force telling me that the word 'Fiver' would have some significance a few years later (along with Hazel, Bigw...etc). Secondly, Sam and Vay are supposed to be walking on sand in frame 6, hence the appearance of shells. In typical clumsy fashion though, I mistook it for grass and coloured it green. It's all the same anyway... right?
