Mitana and Jake's Supercomic was the second comic to feature birds, and was started in late 1995. The Supercomic was so-called, as it was much bigger than most of the others (18 pages, as opposed to 8). That could possibly explain why so few issues of it got done.

As this was a 'supercomic', the strips weren't the usual little 'such and such go to the seaside', but all flowed as one big adventure. Who knows what issue that would have finished in!
