The image will take some time to load...

TRANSCRIPT:-
Frame 1: The puppies had a problem. They had been invited to a bonfire, and promised they would bring all the fireworks. But the shops were closed!
Frame 2: As they were heading to the party however they had a stroke of luck
Frame 3: They passed a wizard, who was selling fireworks by the side of the road
Frame 4: They bought the fireworks. But these were magic fireworks (surprise, surprise). They automatically went off whenever the password 'Light' was said
Frame 5: Button activated the first one - "We better hurry up! It's not very light out here!"
Frame 6: All the puppies were blasted away
Frame 7: Eventually they crash-landed in the middle of the Kitara Desert.

BACKGROUND INFO:-
Sorry about the size of this image but, as with all of the '98 strips, my handwriting is so much smaller that I have to make the images larger!

The strip itself is an unusual twist on the old 'password cursed everything' idea, this time password cursed fireworks. At least this time there's a reason for them being magical! The next thing to note is the speechbubbles. They're red, as opposed to the usual white. This was to be used in the next part alongside a key to identify which puppy was speaking. Pretty nifty eh? Well, it might have been if issue 3 had ever come out. =;) Finally, I'll be damned if I can explain how all the puppies could have been holding on to that one firework!
