Issue 1-9(1995-1997) - The Quest For The Golden
Crystal
One day some men started to invade the jungle. The only way to save the jungle was to retrieve the Golden Crystal. An ancient crystal, with untold powers, that could stop the men. Only Tigerlilly and Tigerlan were brave enough to take up the challenge. The next day they took the map and set off. First they came to a farmer's field. Tigerlan crossed the field, but where was Tigerlilly? Tigerlan rushed back into the field. "Help!!"... There was Lilly in a trap. Tigerlan rushed over and freed her, but... BANG! "Ahh! RUN!!", shouted Lan.
ZOOM!!
"Yikes!", Shouted Lan as
he ran into another trap. "TIGERLAN!!", Shouted Lilly. "Forget about me and
go!", shouted Lan. "But.." "GO!", Finished Lan. Lilly left, then a few seconds
later she heard another gunshot! She continued, but was so sad that she didn't
see some quicksand. "HELP!!", Shouted Tigerlilly as she began to sink in the
sand! Lilly thought she was doomed when suddenly she heard a voice, "Have no
fear Lil, I am Here!". It was Tigerlan! He swung out of a bush(as you do!),
Grabbed Lilly, then swung back, dropping her in the bush. "Tigerlan!, What
Happened!!?", She asked. "after you left Lil, the farmer came, but I roared at
him, making him backfire the gun on himself!",Started Lan. "But how did you
get free!?", Asked Lilly. "Well, by an amazing stroke of luck, When the farmer
shot himself, he dropped the gun on the catch and... Oh never mind! Remember
we must hurry up and get that crystal!". Next Tigerlilly and Tigerlan reached
a river, which they crossed easily. Finally they pushed their way through some
bushes, and "GASP!!" "HOORAY!!" FAINT! There was
the Golden Crystal!
Tigerlan grabbed the crystal, then him and Lilly turned
around and set off home! This time they took a different, hopefully quicker
route, which led them to another river!(Dont ask where all the rivers came
from!!). Just as Lan had found somewhere to cross the river, Lilly slipped.
"Hell.. glug.. HELP!!", Shouted Lilly, as a load of weird bad-singing
crocodiles started circling Lilly! They started to sing.. "We are the really
Nasty Crocs, and we're going to eat you 'cos we're out of food stocks!".
Tigerlan grabbed a vine then sang just as badly, "That is my sister on whom
you will not dine 'cos I'm going to rescue her with this long vine!!!". And on
that final bad note, Lan swung the vine around Lilly and yanked her out of the
water! The crocdiles sunk away under the water! After that Lilly and Lan
quickly crossed the river. Next they climbed a steep hill. "There's the
jungle!", shouted Lan, pointing at a green blotch at the bottom of the hill.
They hurried down and into the greenery. "Quick we must get to the Wise One!",
shouted Lilly above the screams from the other animals! They rushed into a
cave, which you see all the time in the middles of jungles. The wise one, who
was an ancient oracle, lived in that cave. He pulled out a sheet of parchment
with some ancient-looking writing on it! He said a few funny sounding words,
then, as Tigerlilly and Tigerlan watched, the crystal split up into millions
of stars. The stars disappeared out of the door! They all followed, just in
time to see the stars going after all the humans, striking them with
lightning. Most of them were killed instantly, and the rest ran off screaming!
Lilly and Lan were carried like the heroes they were to the palace of the
Tiger King! "As a reward for your acts of bravery, you may have anything you
want!", spoke the king! Tigerlilly and Tigerlan decided to ask for their own
comic(Very sad choice!!). It was granted, and very soon Tigerlilly and
Tigerlan's comic was published.
