Yep, the madness continues in this issue, with
references to the Watership Down TV Series abound. (of course there was no
series 3 at this point!). Indeed, guess where that place in frame 1 is a
pretty poor drawing of! What do you mean there aren't any mountains in
Hampshire? =;)
Just a few notes. Lilly is a character who has appeared in Space Trek before. As well as secretly loving Scot (that brown pilot), she's also noted for being terribly unimportant (the irony there being that she's the captain of her own fleet!). Finally, in the bottom left frame on the second strip, I'd best explain the ambulance 'joke'. The ambulance there secretly doubled up as a schoolbus, hence whenever it went past a school, it had to drop to a dull and boring two miles per hour (brum, brum) to avoid the kids seeing what exciting speeds it was really capable of - Don't want to overstimulate those young 'uns you know. =:)
