BACKGROUND INFO:-
This strip, entitled plainly 'Sam and Vay', was based upon the
very first Sam and Vay story I ever wrote back in February 1992. (when I
was age 7). This issue became known as the 'Golden Birthday'
edition, and came out on February 29th 1996 (exactly 4 years to the
day later). It had originally been done in plain writing form, and
destroyed in a major cleanup in 1993, yet I remembered every word of it, hence
reproduced it for this.
The worrying fact is, despite it being a terribly dull and boring story, it's actually more original than most of the 26 issues before it. Hohum!
