Frame 1: On the day before Dulcie's birthday, Sam and Vay got an
invitation
Frame 2: So Sam and Vay went to the shop, but... "We've got no
money!"
Frame 3: So Sam and Vay went to the bank, but a bomb blew it
up
Frame 4: Then they tried to steal a present
Frame 5: But...
Hey!
Frame 6: Then they tried selling iced-creams. Then they tried trick or
treating, but neither of these worked as Sam accidentally put chilli powder in
the iced-cream, and it was not halloween.
Frame 7: But after ages of
scrabbling, Sam & Vay got a present. They went to the party the next
day, but...
Frame 8: "It didn't say BUY present it said BE present!"...
"What!!"... *Faint*
BACKGROUND INFO:-
In frame 3, where it rather pointlessly states 'But a bomb blew
it up', what it was meant to say was that the bank had just been robbed. In
fact, I believe that actually made it into the audio version on The Whole
Cast's Cassette. There's also an example of the ludicrous lack of a legal
system in Kittenland in that thieves don't get prosecuted, they just
get kicked out of the store. Hmm... perhaps that explains why there are so
many bank robberies and road traffic accidents there.
