20(1995) - Mark's Mother's Wedding

BACKGROUND INFO:-
This issue's comic strip saw a complete break with anything that
had gone before. Whereas normally the strips involve 'This went boom, this
crashed etc', this strip actually had a proper storyline behind it. It has to
be said, it's one of the most ludicrous storylines ever. It does make a
mockery of marriage, but I'll claim it's all down to different Kittenlandic
laws (hey, nobody can argue with me!). Basically, Mark's Mother (who
is never once named in this) is depicted as some sort of character who'll
marry a total stranger if he asks her, then some conman ends up engaged as
part of a joke letter, planning to take all her money then get divorced. When
this comes out, this guy 'John' is arrested, and Mark's
Mother marries a different stranger instead. *sigh* Now you can see why
it's better that I stick to just blowing up the
characters.
The only other notable thing about this issue is that it was the first ever to include 2 pages for the strip. Yes, I decided to prolong the agony of this for twice as long!
