TRANSCRIPT:-
Frame 1: It was 8.15am on the 28th February 1992. Sam and Vay were asleep.
Frame 2: Just then Sam and Vay's alarm clock went off.
Frame 3: Sam Jumped out of bed!
Frame 4: Sam smashed the light! Painful!
Frame 5: But Sam passed out when he found out that his birthday wasn't until tomorrow.
BACKGROUND INFO:-
Sam & Vay were born on the 29th of a leap year (officially it was 1992, but that wasn't set until about issue 3, hence you have to ignore the glaring continuity error in this issue). As such they generally celebrate the birthday on the 28th. This was why Sam assumed it was his birthday, but as it was a leap year this was not the case.For some reason, I went and coloured the entire front page of this comic in red. I only did it the once though, as I soon realised just how much effort colouring a page actually takes! Also, I have absolutely no idea why I decided to draw a toilet on the last frame. =:S
