Issue 7(1998) - The Puppies and The Boatrace

TRANSCRIPT:-
Frame 1: Ceaser, Lulu and Button were walking through the park on a nice sunny day, when they saw Rocket and Gizmo...
Frame 2: ...Zoom past in two boats racing each other.
Frame 3: The 3 of them ran on and met Rocket and Gizmo at the end of the race
Frame 4: Apparently they were practising for a boat race that was to be held in 2 hours time. So they all decided to enter.
Frame 5: First of all, Button started the race in a £6000 luxury boat
Frame 6: But he accidentally took a wrong turn and ploughed over a waterfall
Frame 7: Meanwhile Gizmo was doing brilliantly in his super solar-powered boat~
Frame 8: But suddenly there was a solar eclipse and Gizmo's ship stopped
Frame 9: Rocket was right behind that ship and he went shooting into it
Frame 10: Lulu built a boat out of cards, but she accidentally sneezed. Ceaser built a boat out of elastic bands, but one of them caught on a jagged rock and fired him away.
Frame 11: Still, there was a good race

BACKGROUND INFO:-
If nothing else, it's a slightly more original idea for a story, probably down to the fact that this was one of the later comics by me (ie 1998!). I was particularly proud of the drawings for frame 10. Although it hasn't come out to well when scanned and compressed, I loved the amount of detail on those cards and elastic bands. Oh and in case anyone's thinking of asking, I don't know how Button suddenly found £6000 to buy a boat!
